Despre stațiune
The Kitzsteinhorn is the only glacier ski area in the state of Salzburg and sits above Kaprun. It offers 61 piste kilometres between 768 m and 3,029 m, served by 23 cable cars and lifts, including the K-onnection linking Kaprun's town centre via the family mountain Maiskogel up to the glacier. Skiing is planned to start on 10 October 2026, snow permitting, and runs into early May. The area is part of the Ski ALPIN CARD, which also covers the Schmittenhöhe at Zell am See and the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, and suits skiers of every level, from beginners at Maiskogel to glacier skiers.

Cum cumpărați
Tickets for the Kitzsteinhorn are sold through the online ticket shop at tickets.kitzsteinhorn.at or directly at the cable car ticket desks. A EUR 2.00 deposit is charged on the KeyCard, refunded at any cable car ticket desk when the undamaged card is returned. Day and multi-day ski passes are already valid from 15:00 the day before. SkiTable does not sell these passes.
